A super bright blue cichlid, the acara has probably the most personality of any cichlid. They are a wonderful compliment to our blue angelfish and in combination, they make for the ultimate tank of bright blue fish. Acaras and Angelfish live happily together, eat all she same foods, etc. They are also a fairly easy fish to try your hand at breeding. Males will get about 3” long when fully grown. Females will get about 2 inches long. We breed all our fish in-house, we do not import. We cull agressively to avoid bent fins, gill plate problems, etc. We stand behind the affordability and health of our fish.
