Blue Rio Negro Paraiba
This angelfish line originated with Neil Oyama in Hawaii with 50% Rio Negro wild Blood. I have crossed them into my widefin lines which also have 25% wild blood. Vigorous and fast-growing fish with tall and wide dorsal fins and nice halfmoon ventrals. They all develop nice metallic paraiba coverage. The metallic sheen on the patches is very gold-colored on these fish as they mature. Groups are mix of Std. Fin and Veil Fin. We cull aggressively to avoid bent fins, gill plate problems, etc. Blend these genes with many other varieties to create spectacular paraiba types. The Paraiba Marbles are quite a stunning result. Individuals may also carry a dark gene! We stand behind the affordability and health of our angelfish. Angelfish are approximately (+/-) dime-nickel size, they are 5-8 weeks old. Freshwater angelfish. Disease-free. Live arrival guaranteed. We highly recommend use of our Micro Pearls food and our Miracle Mini Bites food for our angelfish, as it is what they are used to eating.
